The Steel City Ramblers

Dr. Jeff Towers has been involved in the music scene since his college years, and over the last few years he has become a well known musical artist in the Armstrong, Pennsylvania area.  He is sought after as a guitarist, and has accompanied many bands and acoustic shows.  He is not only a spectacular guitartist with great tone and precision; he also has a soulful singing voice that makes the listener want to hear more.  Jeff plays guitar and is a backup vocalist for The Steel City Ramblers.  Jeff also accompanies Justin often for acoustic shows.  The melodies they create togeher are truly pleasant to the ear.  

Dr. Ray Voller, a general dentist in Kittanning, has been playing music since age 6. His musical path included taking lessons in piano, drums, guitar and bagpipes and he minored in music at the University of Pittsburgh. He taught guitar for decades and has played guitar with several bands including Fiction, Excursion, among others, and currently plays with The Jentz Band. He also plays bagpipes for the Seton Hill University Pipe Band. He recently was contacted by his friend and fellow band member Dr. Jeff Towers to play bass guitar with The Steel City Ramblers. Ray resides in Sarver with the love of his life Donna, and loves spending time with his family.

Brian Shaffer has been writing, recording and performing music since he was a teenager.  He has been a member of various musical projects ranging from a cappella vocal groups to high energy rock bands.  He has achieved radio airplay nationally and abroad, and he has had his music featured on MTV and is an active member of Broadcast Music Incorporated.  Brian not only has fabulous vocals with great control and projection; he also is a multi talented musician that plays multiple instruments.  Brian is a voice talent, musician, vocal coach, graphic designer, is involved in multiple bands and also plays the drums and is a vocalist for The Steel City Ramblers.
